We’re proud that our Club had pitched in to help the people of Tonga after their volcano eruption and tidal wave.
We’ve donated:
- Wash Kits
- Hygiene Kits
- Hand Sanitizer
- Wipes
- Flashlights
- Gowns Masks
- Gloves
- Bandaids
- Bandages
- Surgical Tape
We have all of the above in abundance and more.

In addition, we’re gathering pallets of food and water which we can take directly to the Tongan National Emergency Management Office (NEMO) in Burlingame in the name of our district.
Also, in addition, we continue to send supplies through our boots on the ground in Australia/New Zealand on a weekly basis in the amount of $10,000 each time.
We don’t have shipping costs because we have a joint venture with the Government and it arrives in 2 days.
We ship from New Zealand direct to Tonga in 2 days. This is mostly water and food and rebuilding supplies. We are spending an average of $8000 a month to help Tonga in the name of GIHW. Here in our storage locker, we are beginning to gather medical supplies.
